Legal Insights for Dentists (dentist.law) is published by Sager Law Corporation, 1495 Marine Drive, West Vancouver, BC V7T 1B8. We follow British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). This policy explains what personal information this website collects, why, and how we handle it.
What we collect and why
Contact form. If you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if you provide it) and your message. The form sends this information to us by email. We use it only to respond to your inquiry. Please do not send confidential information through the form.
Email updates. If you subscribe, we collect your email address and a record of your consent. We use it only to send occasional emails when new analysis is published. Every email tells you how to unsubscribe, and we act on unsubscribe requests promptly.
Site search. When you use the search on this site, we record the words searched, the page you searched from, the date and time, and the number of results. We use this only to understand which topics readers are looking for and to plan new articles. Please do not enter names or other personal or confidential details in the search box.
Technical information. Our website host collects standard technical information, such as browser type and pages visited, to run the site securely and to give us general, combined statistics about site use. We do not use advertising cookies or sell personal information.
Service providers
We use trusted service providers to operate this website and our email: Framer (website hosting and forms), Google (the search log) and our email provider. These providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of those countries.
How long we keep it
We keep contact inquiries for as long as needed to respond and for our ordinary business records. We keep subscriber information until you unsubscribe, and search records for as long as they are useful for planning content.

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time. You can also ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent, by contacting us below.
